…he is in Egypt on vacation with his son, son got malaria, he can’t bring him to hospital without the money, he can’t contact any of his family, as he lost his phone and don’t know their numbers out of head , and needs money asap or the son will die …true story 🤣🤣🤣
Have never given money to any strangers, but I have experienced all 7 of those examples for scammers. On thing I would add is that they often pretend to have a job that takes them out of the country (Military, oil rig, engineering).
The most important thing you can do is to go online and Google fakenumber.org for it to tell you immediately their number is fake, harder with a cell though, OR their email address looks strange, like it has a com before the @ sign of the address. Other things to look for: 1) They will only have one photo, or use photos that look like models and/or are obviously stock photos. 2) . The will have information that doesn’t match up with their profile information, i.e., they are a VP, or were of some Fortune 10 company, but their favorite food is Tex-Mex. 3) . They do not use the English pronunciation or spelling of words when they claim to be local. 4) . They will ask you to send money to some odd account that is in the states, even though they claim to be in a foreign country when they are requesting you send money. 5) They create Instagram or Facebook accounts and don’t have any followers or friends. 6) They ask you to send a photo of yourself “right now” to use for variety, or a video tour of your place, in order to scam other men and posing as a female. I hope this helps.
They also tell you they were born in another country and usually an only child. Usually, work out of the country but they will be back soon. They are moving to your area soon. I was scammed but I did not send any money. As soon as they asked I knew for sure. They tried to say, ” I gave you my heart and this is how you are going to treat me”
Yep, they are rich… Now when I spot them I turn them into the sight immediately. They say things right away like “you and me only you and me ok”? They always want your e-mail right away.
They’re asking for money come within about 25-30 days.
I have never been scammed as I am VERY careful. I have, however, come across quite a few men who are from the US sending messages telling me they are ready to relocate if they find love and telling me that the distance doesn’t matter to them. That’s a red flag to me. (I live in Canada.) NEVER contact anyone from another country as they may want to move to Canada just to marry you and then dump you! A lot of them want the free medical care from this country, so BEWARE. A lot of them have told me: “You probably don’t realize how your profile stands out from others.” Has anyone received this statement from guys?? I am wondering if these are from the same scammer(s)… I, of course, never answer to anyone who does not live locally as I do not agree to chat or FaceTime. I want to meet face-to-face as soon as possible in order to see if the person is “real” or is fake, and also to find out if their photo is current or from five years ago. I only agreed to meet two guys so far and the two of them looked older than their photos. Very disappointing…
